ClickCopier
I want a better way to copy fields off web pages. Select a phone number in a customer record, nudge the selection so it skips the label, switch tabs, paste, and repeat for the next field. So I built ClickCopier, a browser extension that makes it one move: hold Alt, click the field, and it's on your clipboard.
- Hold Alt and click a field. It finds the label too.
- History in the side panel: pin, mask, search, copy again.
- Pick your copy modifier, a panel shortcut, and an accent.
The trick is that it reads the page around whatever you clicked. It looks for the label that belongs to the value: a table header, a form label, a "Phone:" sitting just to the left. So your history says Phone, (801) 555-0148, not a bare string of digits. A blue outline flashes on what it grabbed, and a small note in the corner confirms it.
Everything lands in the browser's side panel, searchable, with the site and time each clip came from. Pin the ones you reuse, mask the ones you'd rather nobody read over your shoulder, or right-click any input to paste straight from history.
Nothing leaves the browser. History lives in the extension's own storage and clears itself after an hour unless you change that. The optional PIN is stored scrambled, never as the digits.
It reaches inside pages built from nested frames too (web pages embedded inside other web pages), which matters more than it sounds. Enterprise software hides a lot of fields in there.
